Guest post on HiP Paris: Moving to Paris "tout seul"
Today I'm being featured on the HiP Paris blog again (I guess they must have liked my first piece about where to go when all the Parisians disappear in August). When they asked me to propose an experiential piece about moving to Paris, I knew there was a topic I needed to write about: what it has been like moving to Paris on my own.
This is a subject that has been lingering on my mind lately, especially in the lead-up to a special birthday at the end of the year (insert teeth-grinding emoji) to the point where I was a little afraid of what might come out once I put fingers to keyboard.
But, as is often the case with ideas that bang rudely on the door of your creative subconscious until you can no longer ignore them, unleashing this one into the wild allowed me to reflect on everything I have achieved independently over the last couple of years. And I was left feeling pretty bloody proud of myself if I do say so myself!
And while I'm in a gloating mood, I'm gonna go so far as to say that it's a pretty good article too. But I'll let you be the judge of that by inviting you to head over to HiP Paris and read it for yourself.
Allow me to set the scene for you with the most appropriate "Independent Woman" GIF I could find, throw your hands back at me!
